IIT Hyderabad Library Trainee QUALIFICATIONS

Library Trainee Essential Qualifications, experience, knowledge, etc.-
01 First Class Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent recognized by UGC.
The applicant must have passed MLIS or equivalent examination either only in the year 2021 or 2022. However, those expecting the MLIS final mark sheet as above by the day of the Interview may also apply.
Candidates who passed the MLIS or equivalent examination before 2021 need not apply.

Desirable: Basic working knowledge of IT and IT applications related to libraries.

IIT Hyderabad Library Trainee Stipend

Stipend Amount: Rs. 25000/- per month will be paid during the period of training.
Duration: Duration of traineeship will be for 6 months from the date of joining.

IIT Hyderabad Library Trainee Important Info

Nature of Traineeship: Learn while you work on different functions and services of Library. Selected candidates will have
to work five days a week and shall work in different shifts and on weekends on rotation basis. They will be required to do
staggered duties.
